Waukesha County’s Public Works Department is seeking an experienced Traffic Engineer for one of its Senior Civil Engineer positions.  Responsibilities include acting as a project manager to coordinate the planning, design and construction of traffic and safety related projects; preparing and reviewing traffic studies, design and operation of traffic signals, traffic signing in conformance with MUTCD standards.  Requires bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, 4 years of professional related work experience, a P.E. license, and familiarity with AutoCAD and traffic engineering software.  Salary range:  $63,000 - $77,500 plus excellent benefit package.  May consider underfilling as Civil Engineer with salary of $46,840 - $59,836 if the candidate does not possess a P.E. license.    Submit detailed resume and complete application by October 3, 2008 to:
