Seattle City Light is looking for a strategic advisor to lead the recruitment and hiring of management and employees, implementation of a performance management program, deliver the workforce development program, provide oversight of the temporary, contract, and special employment staff, and policy development that will support the Utility’s Mission, Vision, and Values. Will actively promote, support, and manage key strategic initiatives including those related to fair and equal employment, diversity, and justice in the workplace.
Required qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree, substantial leadership experience in recruitment, hiring, or policy development, typically gained through five or more years of progressively responsible assignments in a large, complex, multicultural and diverse organization.
Desired qualifications include a Master’s degree and six or more years of experience in public sector organizational practices, employment law and labor union contracts.
