QuadDirect,a Quad/Graphics subsidiary that offers concept-through-deliveryservices, including just-in-time marketing strategies, creativedevelopment, and creative and workflow solutions, as well as onlinecommunications deployment and comprehensive print production anddistribution, all driven by data, is hiring experienced analysts towork in our West Allis location to meet the growing demand foranalytics services from our diverse group of clients.The position requires experience working with raw marketing data fromflat files and mining data from relational database models such asOracle or Sybase. The position also requires familiarity working withBusiness Intelligence and Campaign Management applications such asBusiness Objects, Unica and Cognos.The Marketing Database Analyst is responsible for communicatingeffectively with cross-functional teams of technical and businessresources in order to generate innovative and measurable results thatsupport long-term relationships with our clients.Responsibilities:• Interface with business team members to understand clients’ direct marketing and information needs.• Enhance and develop our data analytics services for direct marketing clients.• Create methodologies for report design, QA/QC, auditing, and campaign management.• Assist in the development of computational and statistical models.• Ensure accurate and reliable methods for campaign performance and integrity.• Create ad hoc reports and analysis to support direct marketing initiatives• Support optimal campaign design and performance through solid response analysis and testing methodsIf you would like more information about QuadDirect you may visit www.quaddirect.comRequired Skills/Experience:• Technical and business-oriented mindset with strong analytic abilities and problem-solving skills• Experience working in a dynamic marketing environment with a passionfor translating raw data into meaningful and actionable marketinginsights.• A minimum of three years of experience in campaign design and/or customer profiling and reporting• Superior data analysis and marketing research skills• Software application or engineering experience• Project planning skills and ability to work in a dynamic environment• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Information Technology or related fieldPreferred Skills/Experience:• Experience with a direct/database marketing agency/vendor• Two or more years of SQL and Oracle experience preferred. Experiencewith Unica Affinium Campaign and Affinium Model, Excel, BusinessObjects, Cognos or other applications• Advanced degree
